Intermediate Camp
Designed for youth entering 6th and 7th grades in
the fall, Intermediate campers should gear-up for the
MISSION of a lifetime.
Being a Christian is an exciting adventure, albeit
a challenging one. This year’s camp theme will
explore the challenges and rewards of being special
agents for Christ.
Our program is designed to help campers grow in their
faith, nurture friendships, and have a week of fun they
will remember for years to come!
About Your Intermediate Camp Director: Karyl Ropke
Growing up, Karyl spent countless weeks enrolled in
sleep-away camp – including an annual stint at
Camp Timberledge. Today, with more than fifteen years
of leadership experience in youth programming, she
is an avid believer in the positive role that summer
camp programs can play in the development of youth.
Her programs challenge young people to experience new
activities, build lasting friendships and explore the
role the Christian faith can play in their lives.
Karyl and her husband, Ben, are outdoor enthusiasts,
hiking and kayaking around the globe. When not volunteering
at Camp Timberledge, Karyl is Vice President/Travel
Marketing at Development Counsellors International,
the leader in marketing places.
